Tonight I *almost* skipped out on the Black Lips show at the Varsity. I was a little tired, I was comfy on the couch, and I wasn't sure I wanted to drive all the way to Dinkytown. But alas, I made a game-time decision to man up and go.And holy cow, was I glad I did.I had seen these guys at SXSW last year, and they were good -- but nothing like this. They were so much more fun this time around, and fully lived up to their reputation as an amazing live act. And the crowd was having a blast as well (as you can see from the photo above. It's been awhile since I've witnessed so many successful stage dives). In case you missed it and want to see more antics, the photos are up over here.
