It was lovely here today. I think the high was like 83 and the humidity dried up and there was a nice breeze. Except I only know this because I read about it online while I was working all afternoon in the basement. How depressing! But if I don't stay in my basement office to work, my mind wanders and I'm not as productive. So there ya go.Anyway, my favorite part about working from home (other than the delicious coffee at my fingertips and the amazing soundtrack) is that every few hours Memphis here will pad up to me at my desk and rest her head on my knee while wagging her tail. Sure, sometimes she wants outside or sometimes she's hungry. But most of the time she just wants a little head scratch and to let me know she's there. Best coworker ever.Tonight, around 8, I decided 11 hours was enough time in front of the computer (you think?) and that we should all go for a nice walk. After all, it would be a shame to be indoors ALL day in August. We'll save that for February.
