Say hello to a very happy Leslie. We arrived in Palm Springs around 4:30 this afternoon, and it is lovely. The dry air and flowers and succulents and swimming pool and wow, this was just what I needed. We are so thankful to our friends Chris and Alby for letting us come and crash at their amazing home. It is even more beautiful than I ever thought, and every single amenity you can think of is taken care of. Our bedroom has sliding glass doors to our own private patio and then a beautiful garden path that leads to the pool. Yeah. Feeling pretty lucky right about now.Beyond the amazing scenery, we were thrilled to step off the plane and learn that the gay marriage bill passed in the House in Minnesota, which means that it should be the real deal by Monday. You better believe we toasted some champagne when we arrived at the house today.Overall, a wonderful, wonderful day.
