foxy falafel!
Pretty good day! Between my normal work stuff, I was able to squeeze in the wedding of my buddy Toby to his *wife* Lisa. It was a really sweet, short ceremony, and I really enjoyed it. The wedding party all wore their own clothes (nothing matchy-matchy) and the bride bought a gorgeous vintage beaded wedding dress, and had it altered to fall just below her knees. The ceremony was outside, and these more casual details were a perfect fit for the occasion. Plus, it made everyone realize that what was important to this couple was the moment and the day, and not all the pomp around it, and that was super sweet. Then, after the ceremony, we needed to head back home as we have a ton of work to do, but first we stopped off at Foxy Falafel's new restaurant for dinner. Yeah, you read that right! Foxy got a brick and mortar restaurant! Which means now we can eat her food all year long and not just at the farmer's markets in the summer. Man, it was delicious. So delicious that I forgot to take a photo until Jamie was about to take his last bite. Sorry about that.
