Sooooo, one of our New Years Resolutions (for me) was to get more photos of us together. I had some great photos of Jamie last year for the stupid holiday card, but, um, none of me. And certainly none of us together. But man, did we have great dog photos! Anyway, so the resolution was to get more of us together using my camera's timer. Which I used for the first time today (yeah, that resolution is not going so great). But I did it! And this one turned out OK considering I hadn't brushed my hair or put on any makeup today. I *had* brushed my teeth though, so there's that. Hey, we're at the lake. What do you expect?Anyway, we took this photo during our "dinner cruise." The cabin came with a pontoon boat, and we packed a picnic dinner with a bottle of wine and the dogs and headed out onto the water tonight. And we dined while watching the Eagles fish from above and listening to the loons calling to one another. It was pretty cool.
