Tonight I had a shoot with these two -- who I totally adore. They are the parents of some dear friends of mine, and they are so funny and sweet and kind and in love, and I always have so much fun seeing them. We befriended them many years ago at a BBQ where Claire up there brought her homemade carrot cake. I LOVE CARROT CAKE. Jamie thinks thought the idea of it was gross and wouldn't even let me consider it for our wedding cake. Until he had Claire's. And now it is one of his very, very favorites. So! You know what? She will sometimes make it special for him! What a lady!Anyway, that's just one reason I love this pair. The other reason (besides feeding my husband and I delicious carbs) is that they have such a love for life. They are full of joy and always having fun. One time, a few years ago, I was flying out for a trip and I ran into them in the airport terminal DANCING. IN THE TERMINAL. Just laughing and totally in love. Isn't that rad? I think that's rad. They also just returned from a business trip to Japan where they told me all about their night out at the Karaoke bars singing Michael Jackson songs.
