How adorable is this little lady!? This is Josie, and she's an australian cattle dog that a friend of mine rescued because she's deaf! Isn't she sweet!? She became my friend *immediately* because I brought special stinky bacon treats to the shoot since I knew I wouldn't be able to call her name to get her attention. Don't you just love that smile? This went on for more than 2 decades with no way to communicate that he was in fact conscious! I cannot imagine the frustration he must have felt. Or the relief at finally being discovered!
