It was another lazy day on the beach which included watching a school of dolphins pass down the shore, admiring many surfers tackling the morning waves and ended in a mild sunburn. But after a long day of making our way from the beach, to the house for snacks, and back to the beach, my niece and I headed out for some rock'n'roll.We caught the Black Lips at the Music Box theater, and they put on a great show (as usual). There didn't seem to be quite as many people at this show compared to their recent gig in Minneapolis, but what the crowd lacked in numbers they made up for in enthusiasm. Tons of moshing, stage diving and body surfing -- which made it kinda tough to shoot from the crowd, but super fun to attend. Tomorrow I'll post a full set from the show as well as more beach photos.
