Tonight I got to see Poliça play the sold out Turf Club. This is remarkable because the band (which is local) does not have an album out yet. They have a few songs released on the internet, and one of them is getting some heavy air time on The Current, but still... no album. And this was their second headlining show in town EVER. And they sold out. And you know what? They were really good.My favorite part about their music live was the double drums. I have documented on this blog several times how much I love watching a good drummer on stage. But two? In unison? That was just awesome.You can see a full set of photos from the show over here.
