Tonight I had dinner with Meredith over at Bar La Grassa. She had never been there, and I kept yammering on at her about how good it was, so we went. As usual, it was totally delicious. We were there for about two hours this evening -- not because the service was slow -- but because we both are at this weird point in our lives where we're brimming with a lot of ideas and there was much to discuss. Also? Did I mention how good the food was? This was our dessert -- crepes filled with melted salted caramel and topped with homemade vanilla ice cream. Uh huh.One of my favorite parts of the evening though was when we were leaving and a [cute] guy standing near the door talking on his mobile DROPPED the phone (and his jaw) as he stared at Mere walking out of the restaurant. Yeah. She's pretty adorable.
