Another laaaaaazy day. Let's see... I woke up and ate breakfast and read. And then I carried a lounge chair down to the dock and read for a few more hours in the sun. And then I played fetch with Memphis in the lake for a bit, before returning to the cabin to read. I finished up the Harry Potter series today -- I was itching to get it reread before the movie screening on Friday. Yes, I am a nerd. But I love those books too damn much to feign any coolness about it.After finishing up the series, I made a delicious lunch for us (huevos rancheros) and then we took an evening boat ride with the dogs around the lake before coming home and playing some gin rummy.Tonight I think we'll watch some movies and maybe play with sparklers. This cabin life is pretty good, I tell you.
