What a perfect cabin day. We started out with lots of lounging by the water after some amazing coffee and reading. Then we progressed to a little swimming and some cooking. We grilled out a bazillion fresh vegetables and mixed them in with couscous, dressing and fresh herbs. That paired with hot dogs and some fabulous red wine made for a wonderful meal.But right after we began cooking, the clouds rolled in. During dinner the thunder and lightning started and we quickly cleared the table to sit in the sunroom and watch the amazing thunderstorm (and opened all the windows to feel the wind). It was a perfect summer storm to watch under the blankets.
