Today we took my friend Robin's two boys over to Budweiser for the brewery tour to sample some of the nation's best. Haha, just kidding. We're not taking the 3-year-old in for free beer (just yet). We really took them over there because today was one of the 50 days of the year that the Clydesdales were "resting" in the stables, and we thought the boys might like to see these giant horses (they weigh between 1500 and 2000 lbs!). I believe the highlight for Luke was seeing each of the 8 horses pooping. I tell ya, only the best entertainment for this kid!Anyway, it was a lot of fun. I really wanted to show you guys photos of the horses, but their stables were lined in bars and you had to keep a distance of 3 feet from the stables, so the photos weren't as nice as I had hoped. But man, those horses were just beautiful. Their coats were amazingly shiny, and I am fairly certain they were all cleaner than either one of my dogs. Or my husband. (Kidding!)Tomorrow we might head into the mountains... we'll see. And Thursday! Thursday Dom is playing over at the Entry, so don't fear. I promise to get more rock'n'roll up here soon enough.
