Tonight there's a benefit concert in town and I have a strong suspicion that it's going to turn into a P.O.S. surprise concert, and yet I am staying home. I am making the Adult Decision that I need to be well next week. Let's be clear, Adult Decisions suck.I woke up this morning with a touch of a sore throat and congestion, which threw me into a panic. I am about to get to SXSW where I need to have the energy to shoot for 15 hours a day and then come back to the hotel and process photos for 2-3 hours each day. And you know what that leaves? About 4-5 hours of sleep each night. And then more carrying my gear all over Austin to photograph more bands and more fashion.So yeah, I need to be healthy. I cannot be sick. But man, did I want to hit up that show tonight. Instead I'm doing laundry and grading papers. Boring adult stuff.But how about that photo up there, eh? That's a sweet baby girl that I photographed today. I really took to her because she was so sweet and quiet and didn't have any accidents during the nekkid shots. The only exception was that she threw a major fit when her mom tried to put flowered hats on her head. Atta girl.
