Somehow we managed to squeeze in time today to buy the Christmas tree. We always go to the same lot each year. It's run by the Forest Rangers, and it's a bit overpriced. But the guys are so friendly, and the trees are great. And it's only two blocks away...This year I asked one of the rangers if someone stays overnight on the lot to protect the lot. He said no, and that each night one or two trees get stolen. That's some bad juju comin' at you if you're out stealing trees from the forest rangers. I'm just sayin'.
