Can you even believe it!? Two days in a row of blogging!

Listen, you’re all likely to get a lot more dog photos around these parts soon because 1. The kid is finally back in school, leaving me at home alone in my slower winter months and 2. Because the dogs still adore me and the child asked me to hug him and say our goodbyes a half block from school today so I “wouldn’t embarrass him.” It’s his seventh day at school.

So yeah.

Also, last weekend, since school has officially moved from OUT OF MY OFFICE and into a public building, we moved Ezra’s desk setup into his bedroom and moved the glider/rocker that I nursed him in to my office. I will never get rid of this chair because it is THE MOST COMFORTABLE. Anyway, we were sitting in it maybe once or twice a month before, and now we all are fighting over it.

Probably because I positioned it to face out the window where you can prop your chilled feet on the warm radiator and either snuggle in with a book (me), snuggle in with a parent reading to you (Ezra) or guard the block (Magda). Hazel is too low on the family totem pole to have made it into the chair, but frankly I think the rocking weirds her out anyway.

So here’s to my new-to-me chair that sits in a warm, sunny corner of my office and that is currently collecting dog hair like crazy. Bravo!
