We took our time getting up to the lake today, stopping off for groceries and beer as we were a caravan of 3 cars. I invited Meredith and Margaret to join us at the cabin for a few days just so the ladies could get in some dock time before their weeks began. Ms. Margaret was kind enough to brew up some home-made strawberry vodka for the trip, and we started the weekend with strawberry vodka lemonades (as seen in this photo).We spent the afternoon. sunning and swimming and laughing at Memphis. Jamie grilled an amazing dinner (eaten outside, of course) and we spent maybe an hour or two just watching the sun sink and the colors of the lake change before the moon came out big and bright. It has been a fantastic first day on the lake, I tell you.
