Oh man, this place? It's like it just sucks the money out of my wallet when I even look at the logo. I am such a sucker for their products. I go in thinking I'm going to spend a grand, and 30 minutes later I leave pondering how I can spend $2,000 because I could get SO. MUCH. MORE.And you know what else? Their salespeople actually know what the hell they are talking about without being condescending or rude (I'm looking at you West Photo). Oh? You're a photographer? Do you shoot RAW? How do you process? What camera do you use? So you use a CF card reader. Do you know this could save you time? And it just keeps going and going and going. Ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching.I'm pondering getting one of the new iMacs. Right now Shuttersmack HQ operates on a wonderful and well-loved MacBook Pro. But I gotta tell you, editing all these wedding photos hunched over a 15-inch laptop? It's not the most ergonomically sound solution. So far, I've managed to spend nothing. But tomorrow might be a different story.
