Think back to looking at your own photos from childhood. Do you prefer the posed, perfectly dressed images in a studio, or do you prefer the photos of you with cake batter all over your face in the messy kitchen where you can admire your mother’s stylish decor and the trends of that era? I know I prefer the latter — I’m so glad I have proof of our butter colored kitchen with indigo colored carpet in the kitchen. Yes — carpet in the kitchen! Who wants to forget THAT?
These are the things I want to capture for your families — not just the kids’ smiles and the sweet moments between siblings and parents (and pets!), but also the homes you live in and yes, the messiness of life.
