a round for the house

I took Nyberg over to the Aster tonight. It's cold, windy and snowy out, and I wanted to go somewhere cozy. For our drinks we had chai lattes made with cognac. YUM. In the middle of our meal a singer/songwriter started playing in the restaurant, and then after a few songs told us that he owned a brewery in California and the Aster served his beer -- "So a round on the house!" Wow! That's the first time I have ever been in a bar when a round for the house was bought. I think it will become a goal to get that to happen again. Who's with me?
