boys are back in town

Oh my, I owe you soooo many photos! And I will get to all of them, I promise! But tonight I was on deadline to get Middle Brother their shots from today, so those are all I processed. They put on one hell of a show at the Partisan/Brooklyn Vegan party this afternoon, and man was it great. The best part about Matt here growing his hair out is all the Pantene-type photos I can capture in the daylight (very Free Energy-like).Today I also shot Yoko Ono (!!) as well as the Vaccines, the Old 97s and more Jason Isbell. And a few others, but those were the highlights. I'm finding the festival to be WAY more crowded this year than in the past, and the lines are so much longer and shows are just harder to fight into. I'm also finding more clubs are not enforcing the "press pass" photo policy, so fighting up to the front for images is tougher, making it hard to shoot as many shows. But, that said, I also was a little lazy today because my buddy Julie arrived in town (and wow y'all should see how skinny, tan and amazing she looks) and we just wanted to have margaritas and catch up. Which was perfectly all right with me!
