brunch with the girls

Now that is delicious coffee. What you see there (or rather, the remains of what was there) was my new favorite mocha from Aster Cafe. It's the orange sea salt mocha and wow, it is just amazing. I had that this morning while enjoying a delicious brunch with some girlfriends. I hesitate to say this, for fear of jinxing it, but the Aster is a great brunch spot because there is zero wait and the food is fantastic. But be warned, it is super chilly by the doors, so don't sit at those tables.Oh yeah, and what else is on this table? My wonderful Christmas gifts from Margaret! It's the Jonsi live DVD/CD set as well as a SIGNED book by the Small Stakes. Who is that, you ask? That is my very favorite concert poster designer ever. The work is so smart and so simple -- something I really aspire to. This gift will be highly inspirational, for sure.
