Holy cow have we been busy. Lots of cleaning and organizing and answering phones and taking care of family. It's interesting how when you lose someone, you find bits of their personality in the most unusual places.Jamie and I drove one of his parent's cars to the grocery store today, and I found a CD wallet in the glove box. These were all of Stan's CDs, and it was so fun to see what he enjoyed listening to while driving. And then it made me think of the CDs in my car and what someone would think if I suddenly passed away (like maybe I should get that Madonna "Music" CD back into the basement where it belongs).Anyway, here's what Stan enjoyed while driving (and yes, he had great taste):• Ben Folds• The Dave Brubeck Quartet• Delta Spirit• The Police• Eric Clapton• Manfred Mann's Earth Band• Band on the Run• Brewer & Shipley• Talking Heads• Wilco (Being There Disc 2)• Lloyd Cole and the Commotions• Neil YoungThen later tonight, my parents drove in from Wichita, and we went out for dinner (yes, BBQ, of course). Mom ordered this amazing dessert. And I think Jamie and my dad got about a bite each. My mom? She's not too good about sharing her chocolate ;). But it was so good to see my folks, and it was so great of them to drive in early so we could have a meal together.
