date night

Since I have been out of town and I'm about to head back to the airport tomorrow, we had a quiet date night tonight. Dinner at home followed by delicious chai at Spyhouse and then finally catching The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I don't mean to sound snotty or anything (oh wait, yeah I probably do), but as Americans we are WAY better at making movies (especially suspenseful action-type movies) than Europeans. Our version of this film just kicked the Swedish version's ass... in my humble opinion. Plus? Daniel Craig? That casting was spot on. Nice job, Hollywood.PSThere are very few things that I will go on the record as saying that our country just excels at. But film making? Yeah. I'll take that argument on.
