Holy Moly, I had a really good day. First? The vet thinks Memphis has a bladder infection, we have started antibiotics (granted, extremely expensive antibiotics) and she should be on the mend. Whew! Second? I got to have lunch with Julie today who was in town from Texas, and as usual that was so much fun and hilarious and wonderful. Third? Deer Tick played First Ave tonight and I got to see them cover not only The Replacements, but also the freaking BEASTIE BOYS. Oh man, that was so much fun. And fourth, my buddy Will is on tour with Deer Tick right now and I got to catch up with him after the show.So that's TWO friends in from out of town that I got to see, a semi-healthy dog and a fantastic rock show. Damn good day, I'd say.The bad news is that it's 2:54 am and I need to get up in just about 3 hours to pack a back and catch a plane to California. So I'm gonna cut this short and hit the sack.
