fall forward

Super long deadline day today -- but this week was fun because holy moly am I loving this week's vita.mn cover. Don't worry, I'm not tooting my own horn. I hired an illustrator for the artwork and he knocked it out of the park.The best part of my job, hands down, is working with all of the illustrators and artists. There is so much talent out there, and I am continually blown away by the people I hire. But this week's illustration was such an amazing surprise and so much cooler than I even imagined. I love it when that happens :). And special thanks to the talented Wayne Brezinka for making it work!When the cover is online tomorrow morning, I'll be sure to link to it so you can see the whole thing instead of the piece above. Which, by the way, was constructed at 3 feet by 4 feet before being photographed and shrunk down for the cover. Awesome, eh?
