free free energy!

Oh hey! It's Free Energy again! I know, I have shot these guys a TON. But they put on such an amazing show, and I'm always grinning from ear to ear just so happy to be singing along and having fun with my friends. I would never miss 'em, but especially when the show is FREE, like it was tonight.While still fantastic on stage and great music all around, the show was different to photograph because they have a new rhythm guitarist (with shorter hair) and Paul (the lead singer) cut off his locks as well, making for fewer Pantene moments (like these). Luckily I was standing right in front of the guitarist who manages to wow me with his curls each time I see him (how many girls would kill for this hair?). For the full set of photos, go here.Anyway, after the music, vita.mn showed Pee-Wee's Big Adventure! Man, that movie is hilarious. I hadn't seen it in many years (since maybe the 90s? 80s?) and it took on a whole new meaning as an adult post-PeeWee's arrest. Super funny stuff.Next Friday, Peter Wolf Crier (who I shot a last weekend) will be playing for free. I'll be shooting a wedding, but y'all should go if you can. But word to the wise? Bring the bug spray.
