hello autumn

Mmmmmm... it's my favorite season! I woke up to darkness and made a pot of coffee (to be garnished the the wonderful pumpkin spice Coffeemate that is now out) before taking Merlin for a sunrise walk. Then I gave Memphis a bath (which made her sooo happy!) and have been unpacking and settling back into the house all morning.You guys? It looks like we almost missed fall! We arrived home in the dark last night, and as the sun was coming up on my walk with Merlin this morning I could see that tons and tons and tons of leaves had fallen and oh my were the trees gorgeous and red! I think if we had stayed in Europe one more week, we might have returned to bare trees and tons of raking! So Jamie is at the store getting me ingredients for pumpkin soup and I'm settling back into normal life (do you know how much mail there is to go through!? Wow!). Because tomorrow I leave for Wisconsin to shoot a gorgeous wedding! Life is pretty dang good right now.
