late-night drinks

After work my man ran some errands with me as I needed to buy some new photo supplies. Oh calm down, it wasn't anything fun or expensive or fancy -- it was new seamless paper for my studio shoots. (It's big and awkward and I need help loading it into the car.) Anyway! After that we decided to stop for a drink, and we decided to go to Broder's.You guys haven't heard me talk about Broders in such a long time since my most recent love, Tilia, came into my life. But Broders was my very first Favorite Restaurant here in the Twin Cities. It's still absolutely amazing, but it's always packed and doesn't take reservations, and so it kinda fell off of our list. Until tonight! They have the most lovely patio with amazing small plates and delicious wine and local beers (as you can see, Jamie chose Fulton's Lonely Blonde). And how about that label design, eh? Hot damn I love the work that my local design community does. Seriously, there is so much talent hereAnd then we came home and blogged and went to bed. But in-between all of that, I did manage to catch a little gem I've been waiting for on my DVR. Um, have you guys heard about this show Abby and Brittany on TLC? It's about a pair of conjoined twins from the ... uh... Twin Cities. Anyway, I find it FASCINATING. It's two girls that have separate heads, hearts and lungs, but one of everything else. But two legs, two arms etc. I watched the premiere tonight. I'm not normally one for reality TV, but throw in a scientific anomaly and I am there. Plus? I'm just so curious as to how relationships with boys work!?! And what about tests?! Do they have to take one test or two in school? (Yes, the geek in me is dying to know the answer to this one.)
