This week my mom is in town for her birthday, so we have been super busy with work, guest, baby, life. This is why I *forgot* to blog last Friday! Can you believe it?! That is the first time in more than six years that I have plain forgotten to blog. Sorry about that!Let's see... the highlight of the week was probably when I waved goodbye to Ezra Friday morning as he headed off to daycare and HE WAVED BACK AT ME. And he meant to! On purpose! I was pretty excited about that. I was just cleaning up the hair round his ears a bit.Saturday morning we had an *amazing* brunch with friends. Mmmmm.... Waffles.....While at brunch, Ezra got to finally meet our friend Claire, who he took to immediately. And what is he gazing at here? Claire's granddaughter, Evie, who Ezra was *fascinated* with. Oh, how he like watching her. And her cats.Evie gave Ezra some of her old toys that aren't as interesting to her anymore, and Ezra was entertained all weekend long.Here we are eating dinner al fresco. This week the kid tried shrimp, short ribs, asparagus soup, basil, lentil stew and chocolate cake. Honestly, avocado is still the kid's favorite.
