It's restaurant week in Minneapolis, something that I've never participated in... until now. Holy moly! I have been missing out! Tonight I went to Saffron with my friend Nyberg and we had the fixed menu, which was superb. Above is the tomato and cheese salad. But the best dish was... well... either the corn chowder with lobster and dates or the gnocchi. Or the salmon. Or the dessert. See? It was all amazing. If you can, check it out. Three course meal for $30? Yes, please.
