supporting america. or something.

So I pondered a different photo for today, but while it was more artistic, it wasn't as remarkable as the content of this one. Why, you ask? Because this is the Mall of America pretty close to opening this morning. In other words, this is as empty as you will ever see the MOA on a Saturday. We got there early and we were nothing but business. Because man-oh-man do we hate visiting this "attraction."But we needed some shoes for Texas (some comfy walking shoes) and Jamie wanted to check on dress shirts at Nordstrom Rack and I needed something from Urban Outfitters (a gift) and then oh hey Banana Republic is having a sale and oh look so is the Gap and YES WE ARE FEEDING WHAT IS WRONG WITH AMERICA. (But we got some great deals!)I believe Jamie's words as we were exiting the parking ramp today were, "My God get us out of here. My disdain for humanity is increasing at an alarming rate." And I could not have agreed more. And we were home for the day by 1:30 having accomplished five gazillion errands and that felt good. The other photo was of my new Nikes. Maybe I'll shoot those again for you tomorrow :)
