take a minute. look up.
Today I had a job where I photographed a 6-year-old's birthday party (a touch different than the 95-year-old I did last week), and then the family and I hiked around Lake Harriet taking photos and watching the deer (yup, again). During the shoot, I took a minute to look up, and noticed all the birds. Lovely. So here's to stopping for a minute and changing your perspective. And on a different note, Sunday (probably the day that you're reading this) is my ART SHOW. I am really hoping to see many of you there. But since I've put so much work into this and will undoubtedly be a touch swamped tomorrow (did I mention I have a photo shoot that I have to BE in tomorrow as well? A shoot in which I have to dress up like 80s prom??), I have decided to give myself a break (and you a treat).I'm handing over the keys to Shuttersmack to Miss Margaret tomorrow. She's shooting the art show for me, and she'll post some lovely photos, I'm certain. Again, the show is Sunday night at 7:30 at Republic at 7 corners. Crescent Moon is in Big Trouble will be performing and the cover is $5. It's all ages, so you can even bring the kiddies (and their ear plugs). Oh! And 100% of profits from the art sales go to P.O.S.' kidney fund. So come and buy some Christmas presents -- it's for a good cause!
