the fifth night

I wish I had something interesting to report about today, but I stayed in and worked from the minute I woke up until right about now, when I'm heading off to bed. Well, I did take a break to cook up a big pot of squash and sweet potato soup. And I watched The Walking Dead finale while I finished editing my last photo session -- so it wasn't too bad. But the dogs have had enough of this boring behavior. In fact, Memphis just now crawled up onto the couch and lied down over my arms between my torso and my laptop in an attempt to stop the work and start the snuggling. Who can resist that? Not I.This photo was taken as Jamie lit the Hannukah candles tonight. Thank God this happened, or you'd probably get a photo of my work-strewn sofa and empty coffee mugs instead.
