tree hugger

Finally, work is over and for the weekend and we can settle in and relax and sit by the fire and watch bad TV and wrap presents and eat delicious food and play with the dogs and drink lots of wine. Oh, and probably shovel the walk again because it is snowing the biggest, fluffiest, most beautiful flakes outside right now...Some of you had asked that I take a shot of my Christmas tree, and today was the day when at 9:23 pm I realized I had no real photo for the day, and viola! So here you are. This year we opted for the Canaan Fir instead of the Fraser Fir a) because it was cheaper and b) HOLY COW is it fragrant and the smell in this house is so wonderful and holiday and yum. So yeah, the tree makes me happy.
