up in the woods

We arrived at the cabin around 2:30 today, and frankly, we were a little blown away. The place is fantastic. Rustic and charming and comfortable. The room we're sleeping in tonight is surrounded on three sides by windows that fall about 15 feet from the water. We'll be leaving those open all night with the ceiling fan on and the sound of the water and the loons lulling us to sleep. Awesome.So far the only wildlife we've seen besides loons and turtles included a gopher. But we're hopeful for deer later in the week...Oh, and what is this photo? I almost forgot to fill you in. This is the view from the kitchen sink window. Pretty nice, eh? The little spot in the bottom right corner is the edge of our dock. You know, the dock that the pontoon boat is tied to. Yeah. We're in heaven.
