Wow, you guys have no idea how good this soup was. Creamy asparagus soup with truffle oil and roasted grapes. I know it might not *sound* that amazing, but man-oh-man was it tasty. This was one of FIVE courses that I had with my friend Erica tonight over at Victory 44. We both had been wanting to try this restaurant, and we were both impressed. Considering Erica is a chef, that's some high praise right there.If you are thinking about trying out Victory 44, come on a Tuesday night. It's date night, and you get the five course meal for each of you (plus wine pairings! That's FIVE different wines!) for $50. No, not $50 each, $50 total -- what a bargain! And if you want the food and not the wine, it's only $30. Awesome.
