and here's fynn

I photographed Fynn a few weeks ago and I've been waiting not very patiently to share him with you! He's been off the internet and unavailable for adoption until now as his fosters were waiting for a clean bill of health from the vet, and now he has it! And you guys, just LOOK AT THAT SWEET FACE!So you know how my dog Magda likes to jump up all over you all the time? Finn here likes to jump *up* but not *at* you. He appears to be coming at you, and then when he gets there, it's the most gentle, dainty tap you've ever felt. And from that moment on, I was smitten.Fynn here is 2 years old and came from Arkansas and really he just wants to keep you company and gaze at you all day long. Or maybe that's what I want him to do. Anyway, his adoption information can be found here.About this projectFor the next month, I’ll feature photos on my blog, my instagram and my facebook feeds that focus on dogs who need homes. These are dogs currently in foster homes, waiting for their forever family. They are amazing pups who will melt your hearts — some are hard to adopt because they are pit bull mixes (the sweetest dogs ever who cannot help their strength) or they have lived on the streets for a long time and are covered in scars or they might be blind or deaf (or both). Some are simply hard to get adopted because they are black, which is the dumbest reason ever. But each dog that has come into my studio in the last few weeks for photos has had a warm heart and wanted nothing more than love. Wouldn’t it be great if one of you could provide that? I hope so. To see all the dogs featured so far, look here. Also, special shout out to Lucy & Co. for donating all of the amazing bandanas!

This is Kingston and he is 2 years old. But you guys? He plays like a puppy and he is a lot of fun! He came here from Arkansas. He's super playful, loves to fetch and is getting better on a leash. He's in good health, is crate trained, does ok with other dogs as long as he has a slow intro and he's fine with kids. I mean, what a great dog! Go get this guy now!For his adoption information, go here. About this projectFor the next month, I’ll feature photos on my blog, my instagram and my facebook feeds that focus on dogs who need homes. This is Wash and OMG is he adorable! He's about six months old and he just wants to play and play and snuggle. He's house trained, he likes other dogs, he likes cats and he's a pretty easy-going guy. While he might grow up to 50 lbs or so (maybe into those adorable ears?), he'll probably always want to snuggle in your lap. Not a bad thing! For his adoption information, look here.About this projectFor the next month, I’ll feature photos on my blog, my instagram and my facebook feeds that focus on dogs who need homes. This is Gabriel and he is here to make you smile! He's still in puppy territory at 8 mos. old, but he's potty trained and crate trained. He is super food  motivated, and therefore very trainable. Right now he knows his commands, but he's still working on listening. Sounds like my child.Gabriel is good with cats and dogs and kids, so he'd be a wonderful fit anywhere. Also? He loves long walks and playing outside. Perfect timing! You can read more about him and apply to adopt him right here. Say hello to Diamond and Boots! Diamond is the black pup and Boots is the brown one. Diamond is Boots' mother, and these two need to be adopted together. They are nine and ten years old, and they are both in great health. These two were surrendered from Medicine Lake. They are extremely well adjusted and are quiet lapdogs. They are both super mellow and great with kids, dogs and cats. There is no reason at all not to adopt these two.If you are ready to meet these cuties and bring them home, you can find their adoption information here and here About this projectFor the next month, I’ll feature photos on my blog, my instagram and my facebook feeds that focus on dogs who need homes. If you know me very well, you know that I prefer big dogs. I like them at least 50 lbs or more and I want them under my covers keeping me warm in the winter. But Rosie here? She is the exception. This little girl, who weighs in at under 20 lbs is a hilarious little dog who stole my heart the moment she came into the studio. She has the attitude and confidence of a big girl, but the convenient size for dog that you could bring anywhere. She's a little over a year old and nothing phases her. Dog? Cats? Kids? Crowds? She's good with all of it. She would make a fantastic city dog as she also isn't a barker! She's house trained and crate trained and don't let me forget to tell you that she LOVES to snuggle. And she loves long walks around the lake. Like, seriously, she's perfect.Go adopt this girl right now. Her information is here. hello perdita!

I mean, really. Look at that face! This is Perdita, and she is a gem!She is 3 years old, and a petit pitbull mix (maybe 50 lbs, but all muscle). Perdita loves kongs filled with peanut butter and long walks. She is super duper friendly and kind, and she adores playing with other dogs. No cats for this girl, however! She's great with kids, loves to snuggle on the sofa and isn't a barker (but she will whine if she wants something bad enough). This girl is a love, and you should probably set up a meet and greet and then bring her home immediately. For her adoption information, look here. meet fletcher

This is Fletcher, and he is hilarious! He's somewhere between one and two years old, around 70 lbs and he is terrified of standing on photo paper (hence the couch photos). He is fantastic with other dogs, and older kids would be welcomed in a new home. He's a pretty strong boy, so smaller kids might be a little overwhelmed by his wagging tail and enthusiastic kisses.Fletcher has great recall, rides well in a car and loves to snuggle. He's extremely food motivated, which means he's totally trainable. He's super comfortable in his crate, but needs a little more training on walking on a leash. If you'd like more information on this sweetheart, go look over hereAbout this projectFor the next month, I’ll feature photos on my blog, my instagram and my facebook feeds that focus on dogs who need homes.
