I went with The Husband to get his hair cut tonight so we could score some great dinner in that neighborhood afterward. He's going to this new(ish) salon called Miyagi. It is a visual treat inside, let me tell you. They hired Eric Inkala to do the murals in the place, and he painted their mission statement on the wall. Great typography, no? Anyway, I suggest you try Miyagi for a haircut. Husband's hair has never looked better, and it costs him $30 (and they don't take tips!!)
Kinda windy down at the lake today. We're supposed to get several inches of snow tomorrow. Happy &%#$ spring.
Meet Thumper. He hangs out in our yard and our neighbors' yard and drives the dogs crazy. We were happy to see that he survived the winter. Great camouflage, no?
We also stopped by Catherine and Joe's today to see the boys. They were both adorable. Especially when Ellis was giving me this stinkeye ;) I wonder what's going on inside that cute little head of his.
My good friend Nancy is trying to save the world on her own. It's noble, really. She has put up a massive recycling campaign in our office, and this was a bag full of caps that she was taking to Aveda to be recycled. You can do this, too! Here's the link. snurl.com/epr5z
Alexei Perry of the Handsome Furs on Thursday night at the Entry. These guys put on an amazing show. And it was fun to watch because I'm always happy to see married rock stars perform together on stage.
This was the back yard this morning as I was leaving for work. It looked more like a dusting of powdered sugar than snow. And interesting texture on the grass.
Good thing I shot this before work. Much longer and it would be nothing more than muddy paw prints.
We were driving to the Broken West/AC Newman show tonight at the 400 Bar when I noticed the skyline. Pretty spooky...
