Today we went to a birthday party for Will. Man, that kid loves his blueberries.

So we've all been here, right? The CDs are all organized and alphabetized in the basement (or office or attic or whatever) and you pull a few up to listen to every once in awhile (or to load onto your iTunes). And you buy new discs because you are addicted to record stores. And we all know those never make it to the basement. And before you know it, you have about 300 CDs up in the living room all out of order, about 1/3 not in the right jewel cases and a complete mess. No? You don't know about this phenomenon? Well, heh, I DO. And frankly, I'm pretty sure it's the ENTIRE reason iTunes was invented.
So today I decided to get ahold of the situation. This was shot at the start of the day. We have a pile for each letter, plus the iTunes set up to load anything not loaded. The stacks were much higher by the end of the Great Musical Reorg (which was about 10:30 pm). A bit of a disaster should, say, a dog knock the pile over like a stack of dominoes. Not that we know about that either.
Anyway, I love how the circle looks. It looks like Willow is about to step in and perform a music spell. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, then you don't know me very well at all, do you?
Gross, right? This is my iBook keyboard. It is more than 5.5 years old. It is filthy (I'm generally a clean person. I swear!) But it's also full of love and character. Why did I shoot this? Because I got a brand new MAC BOOK PRO today!!! It should be here next week. :)
Deadline day was rough today, so I had to punt and shoot something at my desk. These are my favorite pens (sharpies). I restock every August at Target. This is just one symptom of my addiction to school supplies. It started at about age six.
Well hello there kitty! Meet Anna. I took dinner to Nyberg tonight and as we were eating (in the dining room), I could see this adorable furball glaring out at me from the bathroom. And who can ignore a glaring cat? Not me (says the dog lover). But by the end of the night she was licking my hands (maybe tenderizing for further consumption?). Regardless, great to catch up with an old friend over Malaysian dinner.
Today was pretty crazy with work, so by the time I made it home at 7:45 I was a little panicked that I hadn't shot a single image all day. Lucky for me, my good friend Matt had sent me a lovely postcard from Paris. I still adore getting hand written letters in the mail. I'm nostalgic that way. And look at that fantastic penmanship!
Meet Sally. She's my neighbors' little girl, and I LOVE her hair. There is no product there -- it is all natural. \mm/
