It's 5:30 am, so I'm gonna keep this brief. Today was awesome. This photo above is of Deer Tick, which were so highly entertaining live (can't wait to see them again at the Triple Rock on April 9. Go get your tickets, people). Yes, they are spraying the crowd with silly string. You can see more photos of the day (and more crazy band antics) over here.Other bands I saw today included Nicole Atkins, Goons of Doom, F*cked Up, Hole, Trampled by Turtles, Glossary, Justin Townes Earle and Lucero -- which was super fun, as always.But the best part of today was that I got to sit in on Metric's daytrotter session, which sounded *amazing.* And I got to meet Emily Haines (Warning: slight fangirl crush. Can't help it.) I didn't take any photos, so y'all are just gonna have to take my word for it.
