deer tick at the triple rock

I told ya I was gonna see Deer Tick on Saturday, and man did they live up to expectations. It was a wild and raucous show, and they sounded fantastic. The crowd was INSANE with love for the band (which at some points was kind of ... weird... but yet really great for them) and the setlist was perfect. All my favorite Tick tunes with some Replacements (Bastards of Young!), Nirvana and even a touch of Sabbath thrown in. Now if only I could see the show again tomorrow...For more shots of the evening, look here. Oh, and I apologize for the graininess, they dimmed the lights even further in the Triple Rock, and I had to shoot at ridiculously high ISOs.Oh! And the last two images in that set are of The Guards (or just Guards?) who opened. They were AMAZING. If you have the chance to catch them, do it.
