election day

I decided to vote this morning on my way to work, as I wasn't sure how long my day at the office would be since it was the first day back from vacation. So this photo was taken around 7:30 am. Can you believe how dark it is?? I cannot wait for daylight savings to switch back. I know it will get darker earlier in the afternoon, but man, I have such a hard time getting going in the mornings when it's pitch black outside.Also, when I got to work I had three voicemails, and one was from an older woman named Vera who wanted to chew out whomever at the paper decided to push back Daylight Savings to November. I guess it's nice that she thinks that the newspaper holds such power (and better yet, that she thinks *I* have such power)... but we all know she has George W to blame for this one.
