We made the best decision ever this year to not vacation in the fall, but instead to escape to the woods and Lake Superior the day after the election.

We knew it would be a mess. And if it wasn’t a mess of “this is rigged!” then we knew Trump would have won and we would be seriously depressed. So either way we looked at it, we needed a break.

And man, were we right! Spending the last few days on hikes enjoying nature and this glorious state we live in has been the best medicine. Sure we’re still checking our phones a LOT to see updated vote counts, but if we were at home, it would be all day every day.
