hellooooooo vacation
Oh hi there. I'm in Seattle. I only got 3 hours of sleep last night, and I'm kinda beat, but I can sleep in for the next five days! And today? Today is my first day with no work since the start of August. To say I'm excited about this would be an understatement, for sure. Also, here's a funny story. Today we landed, walked to the train, took the train to downtown, walked about a mile to the hotel, checked in, researched area restaurants, and headed to lunch. While waiting for our food to arrive, Jamie's mild "flight" headache had severely escalated, and I could see the pain he was in. He was covering his eyes, couldn't eat and was wincing and holding his head.So I told him to head back to the hotel (two blocks away) and I would get his food to go, settle the bill, hit up the drugstore for meds and meet him back at the hotel. But, um, to outsiders it looked different. It looked like he was visibly upset (covering his face even) and then ran out and away from his lunch date. I swear, the restaurant thought I broke up with him! And then boxed up his food! I was getting the judgiest stares! Ha!But then I did all of that, headed back to the hotel and rubbed his head for at least an hour until he felt better and then we explored the city and had an amazing meal at Palace Kitchen -- one of our favorites. For my internet share of the day, I'm sending you to these amazing facts about Breaking Bad. Can you even imagine John Cusack as Walter White? Me neither.
