I had a dog client scheduled for today that had to cancel due to illness (poor pup!), so I thought it would be a waste of a setup not to shoot at least SOMEBODY'S dog. And since Merlin has been getting the short stick of late with Memphis' illness, I thought it should be him.How handsome is this guy!!?? Yeah, his coat is a little heavy for this summer weather, but he's still a happy boy. (Shhh... but tomorrow morning he has to go to the vet for a teeth cleaning and be knocked out and the whole shebang, so keep your fingers crossed that he does OK pretty please.)Also today, besides doing photo work, I got to have dinner at my friends Chris and Alby's -- you remember them? They are two of my FAVORITES. They used to work with my man over at Best Buy's corporate office, but ... um... one of them fled. And so we got to hear all about the adventures of his new company while eating their delicious food and drinking (way too much of) their delicious wine. What a great Sunday!
