Postcards from Paris

Bonjour! What can I say. This winter broke me. I think of myself as an optimistic person, but when omnicrom hit right after the kids were vaccinated and everyone was getting sick regardless and we were trapped in the middle of a very cold and dark winter, I broke. And when I break? I buy tickets abroad. That’s what I do.

So here we are in Paris! Truly, with all the Covid and the war in Ukraine, I wasn’t sure we would make it. But we did! And it’s lovely!

Will we probably get Covid? Yup. We are wearing our N95 masks everywhere, but we are the only ones. And it is HOT and CROWDED and the numbers started rising once we arrived. But you know what? I’ve come to terms with it. We needed this trip, and it has been wonderful.

I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. I still have a bunch I haven’t even loaded into my computer yet, but this is a good start.
