This kid learned all about splashing in puddles this weekend because it was almost 40 degrees in Minnesota in February. As a Minnesotan, this is a nice break. As an Earthling, this is terrifying. But all-in-all, we had a great, slow weekend. We are trying super hard to stay healthy right now (after last winter, we enjoy each and every healthy day!), and so we opted to avoid zoos and toy stores and instead played games, went on walks, splashed in puddles and read lots of books. We also constructed a variety of amazing train tunnels using magnatiles and cooked some wonderful food. All in all, a much-needed break. The week ahead is filled up with a big photo shoot that I'm excited about, so I wanted to rest up while I could. For your internet shares:+ Zsa Zsa Gabor has a house for sale in Palm Springs. I guess I could slum it there for a bit.+ Yo-Yo Ma is coming to Minneapolis!+ And Serial has a new program coming up! As one of the few people who enjoyed both season one and season two, I'm excited. And speaking of pop culture: I was so enthralled with The OA last week on Netflix. But the end was SO BAD. Do not waste your time. That is my advice.+ Lastly, if you are still looking for ways to get active politically, Swing Left had a huge conference call last night with 16,000 of us focusing on how to take back the house in 2018.
